OraSeal Caulking can prevent rubber dam leaks even when the dam is submerged. Apply around the margins, then use crosswise strokes over the hole until sealing is complete. Use when an adequate seal is difficult; also repairs rubber dam leaks. During porcelain repair, covering the rubber dam protects gingiva from hydrofluoric acid. Apply into undercuts and under implant bars, precision attachments, etc., to stop cold acrylic or impression material entering voids. Fill gingival embrasures of bridges and splints to ease permanent cement cleanup. Also used to fill screw holes in implant superstructures before impressions. OraSeal Putty performs the same functions with a thicker consistency preferred by some clinicians.
