Alveogyl — analgesic anesthetic paste for alveolitis / dry socket

Composition includes butamben 25.70 g, iodoform 15.80 g, eugenol 13.70 g.

Therapeutic indications

• Treatment of dry sockets
• Post-extraction dressing after difficult/traumatic extractions in patients with previous dry socket

Posology and administration

Local use. With sterile tweezers, apply enough Alveogyl (~0.20 g) to adequately cover the floor of the socket.

Warnings

• Discard contents unused within two years after opening
• Always close the lid after use; store jar cool and dry

Pharmacodynamics

• Antiseptic and analgesic paste for local treatment of dry sockets
• Butamben provides anesthetic activity lasting hours after placement
• Iodoform provides antimicrobial activity
• Eugenol provides analgesic activity with a soothing effect on alveolar tissues
• Fibrous structure adheres easily in the socket; gradually eliminates itself without patient/doctor intervention via tongue movement
• Easy to apply; no special care beyond clinical monitoring of healing

Olive oil, peppermint oil, sodium lauryl sulfate, calcium carbonate, purified water. Presentation: 12 g jar.
