Osseo 100
Osseo 100 measures implant stability and osseointegration to improve decisions about when an implant can be loaded.
It is especially important when using protocols with shorter treatment times and when treating higher-risk patients.
Straightforward ISQ measurement allows implant loading timing to be planned in advance.
It is expected to reduce the failure risk of crown and bridge reconstruction.
Because the equipment does not make physical contact with the implant or abutment, measurement can be made without unnecessary impact.
How it works
- MulTipeg™ is attached to the implant. It screws effortlessly into the implant’s internal threads (approx. 6–8 Ncm torque).
- Aim at the magnet on top of the MulTipeg™. Non-invasive, objective, accurate and repeatable. The peg is excited by magnetic pulses and vibrates according to the stiffness of the contact area between bone and implant surface.
- An ISQ value is generated and shown on the display. This reflects the stability level on the universal ISQ scale from 1 to 99. The higher the ISQ value, the more stable the implant.
