After placement the sophisticated filler composition yields an exceptionally smooth, satin-gloss surface, so polishing stays simple and highly aesthetic results are easier to achieve. The material also shows strong gloss retention.
Aesthetic single-shade restorations: one Duo Shade often integrates with the surrounding dentition. An extra enamel layer can often be omitted, except for very young patients or when rebuilding highly translucent incisal edges with enamel shades. COLTENE’s adaptive Duo Shade system covers two VITA* shades at once (e.g. A1/B1 or A2/B2).
