Cention® Forte is a self-curing, radiopaque filling material used for direct restorative treatments, especially in both anterior and posterior teeth. It can also be optionally light-cured. Belonging to the alkasite material group, Cention® Forte is considered a superior alternative to glass ionomers and amalgam, thanks to its simplified application protocol, high flexural strength, and aesthetically pleasing tooth-colored finish.
Thanks to the alkaline fillers in its composition, Cention® Forte releases bioactive calcium, fluoride, and hydroxide ions, which help prevent demineralization of the tooth structure and support remineralization. The ion release is higher in an acidic pH compared to neutral pH, which allows for faster neutralization of acid attacks.
Cention Primer is a self-etching and self-curing primer specially designed for Cention® Forte. It is used on the hard tooth tissues, creating a reliable foundation for the application of Cention® Forte.
These features make Cention® Forte a reliable choice in modern restorative treatments, offering faster, more aesthetic, and longer-lasting results.
