Amann Girrbach Artex Carbon CN — Semi-Adjustable Articulator
Artex CN is the entry model into the Carbon world—the series’ semi-adjustable starter articulator. Unlike the BN model, it lets you simulate the patient’s lateral (Bennett) movements more precisely.
Adjustable Bennett angle 0°–20° (BN is fixed at 15°) with fixed condylar inclination 35° and three tip-proof working positions.
Technical capacity and flexibility
- Adjustable Bennett angle (0°–20°): Personalizes condylar lateral shift during mandibular side movements
- Fixed condylar path inclination (35°): Average value suitable for most cases
- 3 tip-proof working positions: Use upright, horizontal, or at 45° on the bench—helpful for porcelain work or wax-ups on the model
Design and ease of use
- Non-Arcon construction: Like BN, keeps parts from falling uncontrolled when upper and lower members are separated—lab-friendly
- Click Centric: Audible click confirms centric lock—reduces error when mounting models or checking occlusion
- Lightness and stability: Carbon-fiber and aluminum mix is light with a very low expansion coefficient, helping calibration hold for years
