RECIPROC Blue paper points
Paper points for use with the VDW RECIPROC single-file root canal treatment system. RECIPROC follows a reciprocation principle related to the balance-force concept: the file first turns counter-clockwise for two steps, then clockwise for one step, so it cuts then releases to reduce binding.
RECIPROC system context
- Reciprocation angles are designed specifically for RECIPROC files and the VDW.SILVER RECIPROC motor; a few reciprocating cycles complete a full 360° rotation.
- RECIPROC files are designed for reciprocation with non-cutting tips and are made from M-Wire nickel-titanium, improving resistance to metal fatigue and flexibility versus conventional NiTi.
- VDW.SILVER RECIPROC is a battery-powered endodontic motor for reciprocation (and rotary NiTi systems). RECIPROC, WaveOne, FlexMaster and ProTaper programs are pre-loaded; Dr’s Choice stores up to 15 extra torque/speed settings. It can run while charging.
