Thanks to Opalescence gel's sticky, viscous formula, there is no leakage from the tray as with other whitening agents, and the sticky gel securely holds the comfortable tray in place. Opalescence gel contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride). Its high water content prevents dehydration and shade relapse, making Opalescence gel one of the most reliable whitening gels available on the market.^2–5 A university study proves that the gel remains active for 8–10 hours during overnight whitening,⁵ meaning the patient sees quick results and patient compliance increases.

Opalescence gel is available in various concentrations, formulations, flavors, and kit configurations to meet all your patients' whitening needs. Opalescence gel is recommended for whitening discolored teeth prior to placement of composites, veneers, and/or crowns. It is effective in removing some or all internal tooth discolorations caused by factors such as aging, as well as congenital, systemic, pharmacological, traumatic, etc. It is successful in eliminating fluorosis and even tetracycline staining.

Opalescence PF gels have a sticky, viscous consistency that prevents leakage from the tray. The sustained release formula ensures continuous release of the active ingredient. Customized trays can later be used for regular touch-ups.
