HanTemp Temporary Crown & Bridge Material

HanTemp Crown is a Type 1 temporary resin per ISO 10477. Self-curing, non-transparent resin for the oral cavity. Used for temporary crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers. Available in a total of six shades.

Precautions

• Use only by dentists according to the instructions before use
• Recommend a rubber dam for patients with a history of severe allergic reaction to this material
• Do not use on patients with a history of skin rash, dermatitis, or hypersensitivity
• Discontinue use if redness or hypersensitivity signs appear during use
• For oral tissue only — avoid contact with eyes
• If accidental eye or skin contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice
• Non-professionals must not use this material; do not use for other purposes
• Protective device for the respiratory tract is strongly recommended before surgical procedures
• Do not use after the expiry date (2 years)
• Do not reuse disposable tips; do not sterilize with autoclave or chemicals
• Close the container immediately after use
• Do not use together with eugenol-containing products

Application method

• Check expiry date and avoid package contamination; follow IFU; place disposable mixing tip on cartridge; place cartridge in mixing gun
• Obtain abutment impression; adjust space for temporary crown wall thickness; inject temporary resin into the impression with the mixing tip
• After applying a separating agent to pressed teeth — remove; self-curing (average contact ~1 min, complete cure within about 1 min 30 s to 4 min)
• After 4 minutes remove temporary crown and identify uncured portion; wash uncured portion with ethanol; reshape outside the mouth with carbide burs; adjust occlusion and cement with temporary cement

Storage

• Discard disposable mixing tips after use
• Store in a shady, cool, dry place (2–27 °C / 35–80 °F)
• Light-curable — close the cap immediately after use
