What it is

T2 CONTROL — power lies in consistency. The strength of T2 CONTROL is its consistent torque. The patented CONTROL function provides unique torque and continuously powerful preparation. At a steady high torque around 250,000 rpm, Sirona shows that turbine power is not determined by rotational speed alone. You can drill quickly without stopping to regain speed — saving valuable working time.

Patented CONTROL function

Controlled speed: the high-speed handpiece independently controls speed so you no longer need to stop to regain rpm. Consistent speed during preparations helps prevent thermal damage to the tooth and significantly reduces noise.

Operating mode

While rotating, the O-ring expands due to centrifugal force, so less exhaust air reaches the rotor and speed is held around 250,000 min⁻¹. As soon as the bur touches the tooth, the O-ring shrinks from reduced centrifugal force and exhaust air to the rotor increases, maintaining about 250,000 min⁻¹ working speed.
