Orthodontic etch 35% – 4×5 g

35% phosphoric acid containing benzalkonium chloride. High-viscosity 35% phosphoric acid SELECT HV ETCH contains benzalkonium chloride (BAK). SELECT HV ETCH is used to prepare enamel and dentin surfaces before bonding adhesive, composite, sealant and protective materials. It is formulated to be easily applied to desired surfaces and not to run onto surfaces that should not be affected.

Bacterial elimination during cavity preparation for restorative treatment is a fundamental requirement. Removal of infected tissues is not sufficient to eliminate all microorganisms in the cavity. Clinical studies show that BISCO phosphoric acid containing benzalkonium chloride provides higher antibacterial effect against Streptococcus mutans compared with 2% chlorhexidine, 3% sodium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide, and that this effect continues even after rinsing.
