Angelus MTA White — 7 applications
Mineral Trioxide Aggregate endodontic repair cement made of fine hydrophilic mineral-oxide particles. Mixed with water it forms a gel, then sets to a hard solid.
Indications
- Root-canal and furcation perforations; internal resorption
- Retrograde filling; direct pulp capping and pulpotomy (permanent and primary teeth)
- Apexification / apexogenesis; apical barrier before obturation in wide apices
- Calcium release; moisture-tolerant in the oral environment
- Highly alkaline; antibacterial; low solubility; biocompatible
- Compressive strength: 44.2 MPa · more radiopaque than dentin/bone
- Setting time: about 15 minutes (faster than many similar cements)
