Mtwo® retreatment / rotary canal file system

Rotary canal file system (ProTaper equivalent class). Easy, safe system from preparation to obturation. Smooth transition from manual to mechanical preparation.

Preparation with Mtwo®

• Create a glide path — check canal patency and create a glide path to the apical constriction/foramen with at least ISO size 10 apically
• Determine working length electronically (e.g. RAYPEX® 6 and C-PILOT® file)
• Enlarge canal access with brushing motion and strong lateral cutting — Mtwo® can clear coronal-third obstacles; enlarge gradually with each instrument
• Separate access enlargement is usually unnecessary; if needed, Mtwo® 25/.06 can be used
• Correct brushing motion reduces instrument stress and improves preparation results
• Single-length technique: first instrument 10/.04 to full working length without forcing; then change to the next instrument through the basic sequence — each creates a glide path for the next

Final steps & obturation

• Full product range for final steps (paper points, sealer e.g. 2Seal easyMix) sized to the last instrument used
• After basic sequence (10/.04 – 25/.06), any obturation method can be used
• Cold obturation: Mtwo® gutta-percha point matching preparation size; lateral condensation
• Warm obturation: GUTTAFUSION® carrier technique (size verifier) or BeeFill2in1® vertical compaction with Mtwo® master GP, downpack and fill
