DWX-52DCI 5-axis dental milling machine – automatic disc changer
Efficient milling
The new snap-in blank change system and the six included clamps provide fast, secure setup. Errors during mounting and damage when clamping blanks are a thing of the past. To ensure optimum processing, the clamps return the blank to its original position when remounted. This holds the blank firmly for a second milling operation or two-stage processing. The included blank magazine provides a well-organized, efficient workplace. The snap-in system allows blanks to be milled on both the DWX-52D and the DWX-52DCi for convenient, scalable use.
Automatic, unattended production
To keep preparation time and effort to a minimum, the DWX-52D is equipped with an automatic tool changer that swaps cutters automatically without interrupting production. Up to 15 cutters can be used for efficient milling of a wide range of materials. If the DWX-52D is connected to a compatible extraction system, it can send a signal to switch off the extractor at the end of the milling process. All of this means your DWX-52D can keep working even after you go home.
User-friendly operation
The DWX-52D replaces the complex controls of CNC milling with an intuitive Virtual Machine Panel (VPanel) that automatically replaces worn cutters with a sister tool (ITC function), performs device diagnostics and enables one-click calibration. VPanel can even send an email when the DWX-52D milling process is complete.
5-axis milling
A robust, stable ball-screw spindle system mills high-quality, complex restorations. With five moving axes, simultaneous rotation of blanks enables processing of deep undercuts so that long-span bridges and complete dentures can be produced. The compressed-air system automatically adjusts the air volume required for the material being milled, preventing air-control errors during milling.
Impressive material variety for a wider range of applications
DWX-52D dental milling units are designed for a wider range of materials, helping technicians and dentists best meet each patient’s clinical and aesthetic needs. It mills zirconia, wax, PMMA, gypsum, PEEK, fiber-reinforced resin, composite and CoCr sintered metal as discs and blocks. Typical applications include crowns, copings, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, abutments, implant bars, screw-retained crowns, dentures, models, drill guides and bite splints.
Connection for multiple devices
For laboratories needing higher production capacity, up to four DWX-52D dental milling units can be connected to one computer.
Suitable for any working environment
The DWX-52D is a compact dental milling unit that fits any laboratory. It has an integrated ionizer that minimizes static charge. This reduces milling debris when working with materials such as PMMA and helps keep the workspace clean.
Open architecture
With the DWX-52D’s open architecture, you are free to work with the latest CAD/CAM software, scanners and all accessories that best suit your personal preferences.
